Joséluis Jiménez Maldonado
Community Engagement Lead
Joséluis (he/him) was raised in a small, undocumented community in Salem, Oregon. From an early age, he began to understand the wealth gap that comes with being undocumented. As they got older, Joséluis began organizing for social justice issues, like to help protect the sanctuary state law, help DACA recipients pay for filing fees, and fund Oregon public schools. Joséluis joined OCJ to be on the ground level of creating an organization that will bring justice to the communities that have been most taken advantage of.
