Nikolis (il/elle) cherche à apprendre comment s'engager plus activement dans le processus politique afin de mieux servir notre communauté. Il s'intéresse au domaine passionnant et en pleine évolution de la théorie et de la politique juridiques liées à l'IA. Après son stage chez nous, Nikolis prévoit de passer l'examen du barreau et de poursuivre une carrière dans la politique.

Katie (she/her) is working toward her master's degree in social work at Portland State University. She is interested to learn more about advocacy work and how social workers play a role in policy change. Her goal is to promote social justice at a macro level, with a focus on social determinants of health, data privacy, and protecting consumers from unethical practices in the medical and financial sectors. Katie will be with OCJ the duration of her school year.

Fun fact: Katie received her bachelor of science in Mathematics from Oregon State University.
