OCJ is committed to pushing for accountability and fair and equitable treatment in the insurance industry through our courts and our laws. We are advocating for strong consumer protections including the increasing impacts of wildfires and other natural disasters on coverage and claims. Additionally, we monitor the intersections of insurance with auto and debt issues and will push for the insurance industry to be subject to the same consumer protection laws as other industries in Oregon.
Our consumer protections are only as strong as the ways we enforce them. These agencies and actions support insurance regulation, provide consumer information, or propose pro-consumer policies.
