Angela (she/her) is a third-generation Oregonian from Bend and a dedicated mother of two. She shares her life with her high school sweetheart, and together, they enjoy a fulfilling life exploring the Pacific Northwest with family and friends. Angela earned her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Oregon and holds certification as an alcohol and drug counselor. With over eight years of direct social work experience, Angela has supported families, adjudicated teens, and foster youth. She later obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University, specializing in Macro Social Work, where she discovered her passion for systemic reform. 

Bringing more than a decade of experience in policy change and implementation at both state and local levels, Angela has a focus on Human Services, Public Safety, Housing, and Education. In addition to her policy work, she serves as an adjunct professor at the Portland State University School of Social Work, where she imparts her expertise and passion for social justice to the next generation of professionals.
