Chris Coughlin (she/her) is the Federal Policy Director for Oregon Consumer Justice (OCJ). Chris has extensive policy, advocacy, non-profit and coalition management, communications, and outreach experience, working with community-based organizations, businesses, and political campaigns, as staff, consultant, and volunteer for more than 30 years. Chris joined OCJ in 2021 and prior to her current role served as OCJ's Policy Director. She was drawn to working at OCJ because of its commitment to centering communities that are most targeted and harmed by predatory business practices in all aspects of OCJ's work, including co-creating policy solutions to address consumer injustices. Chris lives with her spouse in Beaverton. Beyond work, Chris enjoys reading, hiking, attending live theater, and spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
