Jagjit (he/him) is an immigrant and first-generation American familiar with the challenges faced by systemically excluded communities targeted by predatory business, trade, and labor practices. Driven by this insight, he earned a law degree and has committed his career to public service. In March 2022, Jagjit assumed the role of Oregon Consumer Justice's inaugural executive director, engaging his deep experience collaborating across sectors and with community groups to dismantle barriers to equity. He is committed to guiding OCJ's staff and resources to achieve consumer justice in the state by prioritizing the needs of communities most affected by predatory practices to fulfill  OCJ’s mission.
