Jeremy is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and has been working as an advocacy communications professional since 2017, with experience in strategic communications, media relations, community engagement and graphic design. Trained as a multi-media journalist, Jeremy believes clear, intentional communications and community engagement work has the ability to build trust, inspire movements and strengthen our efforts to ensure all communities can equitably flourish.

Jeremy joins Oregon Consumer Justice after moving from Boise, Idaho, where he was the communications strategist for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Idaho and served on several community advisory boards, including for Boise State Public Radio (Idaho's NPR affiliate) and Brown Like Me Treasure Valley (supporting children of color in the Boise metro).

Jeremy is a super fan of all Minnesota sports teams and enjoys being outside with his family (hiking, biking, camping, hanging out in the backyard), snowboarding, cooking and tinkering with fancy cocktails. Jeremy graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2010 with a B.A. in Professional Journalism.
