Sage (she/they) has lived in Portland for the last 10 years after being raised in Southeastern Washington. Growing up in the service industry and later working as a Certified Nurse's Assistant, Sage found their calling in serving others by meeting them where they are, providing space for agency building, and increasing attainable access to available resources. Throughout their life, Sage has worked with many underserved communities, including youth, older persons, people with disabilities, HIV+ folks, the unhoused, and substance-consuming populations. Sage believes in a self-directed, individualized approach to care while understanding the importance of building community connection and access to comprehensive services through racial/social justice and systems reform.

Sage received her Bachelor's and subsequent Master's degree in Social Work from Portland State University, finding her passion for macro-focused work to aid with equity-building in established systems through policy and advocacy. Currently, she enjoys life with her partner Matt and their cattle-dog mix, Luke. They enjoy camping, kayaking, and biking around the city, often trying to find new restaurants and live music wherever they can.
