Taylor is a dedicated advocate for consumer rights and fairness in the marketplace. A
proud Oregonian from Deschutes County, her passion for consumer justice is fueled by
a commitment to equity and a deeply held belief that everyone deserves to navigate
their financial lives with confidence. As a Consumer Law Fellow at Oregon Consumer
Justice Law, Taylor focuses on enforcing consumer protection policies and fostering a
fairer economy where ethical businesses and informed consumers thrive.
Taylor is drawn to consumer law for its power to create immediate, tangible benefits in
people’s lives. By addressing financial exploitation and systemic inequities, she aims to
empower individuals to reclaim their financial security and make informed decisions with
confidence. Taylor is committed to leveling the playing field in a consumer-driven
economy, ensuring fairness and opportunity for all.
Before becoming an attorney, Taylor was a hydrologist. While she valued her work, she
felt a calling to make a deeper impact and give back to her community, which inspired
her to pursue a career in law. Taylor earned her Juris Doctor from the University of
Oregon in 2024.
When she’s not championing consumer rights, Taylor enjoys exploring Oregon’s natural
beauty through the typical PNW activities: hiking, biking, skiing, backpacking,
geocaching, etc. She also finds joy in gardening, a great shot of espresso, and is
always up for a conversation about resource conservation or traveling.
