We are thrilled to welcome Angela and Dick to the team and look forward to learning from their knowledge and insights as we work for consumer justice in Oregon.

Professor Addae's work has been published in various law reviews and journals. At present, her research examines the effects of redevelopment policies on neighborhood institutions in urban settings. She previously practiced as a litigation attorney and is admitted to practice in Oregon state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Professor Dick Slottee, JD, has been a friend and supporter of OCJ for some time and, as an educator, has had a hand in teaching many members of the consumer bar. Born and raised in Portland, he graduated from Grant High School and the University of Oregon. After earning his law degree in 1972, he joined Multnomah County Legal Aid Services, focusing on debt collection and consumer issues. In 1977, he became Director of the Lewis and Clark Legal Clinic, where he supervised law students and taught consumer law for over 30 years. After the clinic closed in 2015, he directed Student Legal Services at Portland State University until retiring in 2023. Now, he enjoys volunteer work, spending time with his grandchildren, and supporting consumer rights.
