Alyssa Whitcomb-Zeidel (she/her) is in her second year of law school at the University of Oregon and will be focusing her policy work and research at OCJ on data privacy and cryptocurrency. She brings more than 12 years of experience working in marketing technology and is passionate about consumer protections in tech and data privacy. Alyssa looks forward to building relationships with other Oregon professionals working in policy during her internship and plans to work in the area of regulatory compliance (including data privacy).

Max Derenoncourt, MD (he/him) is a Masters candidate in the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health. While at OCJ, Max is focused on exploring the intersections of health systems and economics, including medical debt and financial products such as medical credit cards. His background includes legislative experience in health and healthcare economics, health consumer advocacy, and healthcare finance policy. Following his internship, Max is interested in pursuing a position in health finance advisory or health consumer protection advocacy.

Megan Bryant-Tiktin, OCJ’s first intern, continues her work with OCJ this fall as an extern during her final year of law school at Lewis and Clark. We are delighted to continue to work with her on data privacy among other focus areas.
