In a significant victory for consumers, yesterday the Oregon Public Utility Commission (PUC) rejected PacifiCorp's proposed tariff request. This decision marks a crucial win for Oregon ratepayers and upholds the protection of their rights and interests.
At the end of November, OCJ successfully petitioned to intervene on the PacifiCorp docket with the Oregon Public Utility Commission, which sets a limit to future lawsuit awards strictly to "actual" damages for property and loss of life.
