

In spring 2023, OCJ engaged with the Oregon Values and Beliefs Center to conduct a statewide consumer survey. The survey results are helping us to better understand consumer protection matters through the lens of a representative sample of Oregonians.

Research plays an important role in putting an end to consumer injustices. By bringing to light important findings that affect everyday people, research helps consumers, advocates, and the legal community push for a more just and equitable marketplace.

The 2023 Legislative Session saw important consumer wins that will benefit Oregon families.

We are excited to announce OCJ’s inaugural interns joining our policy team in May and continuing through mid-August: Megan Bryant-Tiktin and Samantha Formica.

OCJ joined 90 state and local nonprofit organizations to sign an amicus brief filed in the US Supreme Court by UC Berkeley Center for Consumer Law & Economic Justice.
